Rescued from the fate of a skip!

Last week I upholstered these four dining chairs for my lovely friend's mum. They're old Neptune chairs that had stood the test of time and needed a refresh 💙 The frames and original upholstery were still in excellent condition, so a simple recover with the addition of some extra piping to jazz them up was all that was needed!

Remember.....refurb don't replace! ✌️

Proud to be taking part in UK Small Business Week this week!

The second picture outlines the official aims, but from my perspective, completing every footstool, armchair, cushion or beloved sofa for my lovely clients means so much.

It means shared trust.

Trust in me to do an amazing job giving treasured pieces a new lease of life.

Trust to use the best materials, fabrics and not take shortcuts.

So what DOES happen when an upholsterer and milliner collaborate??

The big reveal of the tub chairs we've been working on is finally here!!

The process: I measured up, made up the backs and took them to .pocock who then designed each one and spent hours hand embroidering them to depict the FOUR SEASONS. She then delivered them back to me for upholstering.

What do you think? Amazing to take something quite ordinary and through vision & craftsmanship have something truly unique.
