It's my Dad's 87th birthday today, so I thought I'd create a card just for him.
I love my Dad - he's always been incredibly supportive, a wonderful father and a doting husband to my mum. Unfortunately he now has Altzheimers, and we can only watch as, every day, he slips a little further away from us. Alzheimer's is an incredibly cruel illness - it robs the sufferer of so many memories, plays tricks with their minds, and robs those who love them of a huge part of what made their loved ones who they were.
However, we still have days when we can share a joke - and it's the small things which count the most 😊
