Lake District Ceramicist. Handmade pottery inspired by nature

30/10/2026

Sarah J Maas has given me homework .. now delving into the world of urban fantasy. Anyone else joining me?

Question for the potters; what do you do to keep momentum/ interest when your making a large order? Recently I’ve had an order for 200 mugs and handing them over was a proud moment but there were points in the making process that I craved making something else. So - do you just knuckle down and get them made quickly or do you split your time between fulfilling orders and experimenting / making other stock?

This is why I do it 🧡

It’s been great reflecting back on last year and recognising how far I’ve come. 2025 was a year with tricky moments and forced rest so I’m happy to see that despite the struggle my ceramics have developed and improved. Hopefully this year will feel steadier and bring more beautiful designs 🧡

My online shop is officially LIVE! All of these beauties are available to buy, whether you’re shopping for Christmas presents or treating yourself. I’m so proud of this collection and so happy to be able to share it with you all. I truly feel overwhelmed when I think about how many of my precious pieces have made their way into your homes. A lot of time and passion goes into making something that brings the natural world into our spaces so I invite you to look through them and find which piece speaks to you.
