ā€¦that trying to run a small business alongside my NHS career is HARD and sometimes I feel like Iā€™m fighting the tide or wading through treacle (thanks to my grandad for the second description, it feels quite apt)

This week has been a real test of my juggling abilities both personally and professionally, but I figured if I just keep showing up somethingā€™s got to giveā€¦ right? šŸ˜…

247 individual drawings of the place I get to call home, and where so many of us come to enjoy the beautiful British countryside.

: ā€œin 1810 William Wordsworth wrote that the Lake District should be deemed a ā€œsort of national property, in which every man has a right and interest who has an eye to perceive and a heart to enjoy.ā€

Thanks to the Countryside Act of 1949, National Parks were introduced to Britain - and two years later, on May 9th 1951, the Lake District became a National Park.

Today we celebrate 75 years of protecting, sharing and enjoying this special place.ā€
