MEET THE MAKER: Laura Martin from Wellness Wax By Laura

Hi, I’m Laura, the creator behind Wellness Wax By Laura.

Before starting Wellness Wax, I spent 11 years as cabin crew for KLM, which gave me the wonderful opportunity to travel the world and stay in some truly luxurious hotels. One thing that always stayed with me was the experience of walking into a beautiful hotel lobby and being welcomed by a decadent, signature fragrance lingering in the air. I loved how a scent could instantly create a feeling of luxury, calm and anticipation.

I wanted to recreate that feeling at home, but at a price that was affordable and accessible, and that was where the idea for Wellness Wax began.

What started as a passion for creating beautifully scented wax melts has grown into a small luxury home fragrance and wellbeing brand, with everything thoughtfully handmade by me. From soy wax melts and candles to reed diffusers, room sprays and my signature aroma stones, I’m always exploring new fragrances and ideas.

For me, fragrance is about much more than simply making your home smell lovely. It can evoke memories, change the atmosphere of a room and create those little moments of calm in everyday life.

One of the most rewarding parts of my journey has been meeting customers at craft fairs and markets, discovering their favourite scents and seeing familiar faces return time and time again.

I’m delighted to be part of Arts & Crafts in Keswick and to share Wellness Wax with you in such a beautiful setting. I look forward to welcoming you to my stall and sharing my passion for fragrance with you.
