This weekends beautiful wedding at . This room is so very grand (my son visited parliament last week and commented that the high vaulted glass ceiling at this hotel was "way more awesome" than parliament. He's still jolted that none of the gold was real there).

This bride provided the flowers to me herself from Bristol flower market, and it was such a treat to have so many to work with!

I really enjoy making cakes that are a little bit different. The design for this one had been in my head for some time, and when the creative approached, I figured it was now or never!

The rice paper sails and inverted design were so much fun to bring to life. And I had a go at textured fondant in the cream bits, which turned out really well - and just added another layer of interest.

If you have a cake dream that seems a little "off the wall" please do get in touch - I might just love to do it!
