There’s something wonderfully calming about turning my own digital download papers into momigami… all that crumpling, softening, layering and texture.

With the heat feeling a little too much this week, sitting quietly at my desk with paper in my hands felt like the perfect kind of slow creativity. No rushing, no pressure… just folds, wrinkles, worn edges and beautiful texture appearing little by little.

The pretty finished page gets all the attention… but this is the part I love most.

The cutting.
The tearing.
The scraps everywhere.
The “maybe this works?” layers scattered across the table.

Before the glue. Before the stitching. Before it all comes together… there’s this beautiful mess of possibility.
