At Vamped Vintage, we don’t do factory made, flawless pieces and we love it that way

Every canvas print is hand aged and matched up with a pre loved/vintage frame.
That means you’ll find crackle textures, subtle bumps where old frame fixings used to be, and quirks that make every piece one of a kind.

What a weekend!
We were practically cleared out of stock, so yesterday was spent on the hunt for vintage frames to replenish the stash.

Now, a quick side note, my hip was giving me grief and yes, I was using my walking stick. But using a stick doesn't mean:
My hearing has stopped working (no need to shout!)
My vision has failed (I can see the curb, promise)
Or I’ve suddenly forgotten how to use my phone to pay for things
Using a stick doesn't come with a side of dementia 🤣

And to top it off, the frame hunt was a total bust. Not a single vintage gem in sight!

We're at Tatcon Blackpool this weekend — the International Tattoo Convention at the Norbreck Castle Hotel on the prom, now in its 12th year, with 160 artists, live music and a proper seaside buzz to match Blackpool itself.
There's something about being right in the thick of it. The buzz of tattoo guns, the crowds moving between stalls, ink and colour everywhere you look. It's a brilliant atmosphere to be part of.
We're set up in the Traders Village with our hand aged, framed gothic and dark academia prints 🖤

❌ Modern, flat prints will never match the depth and charm of real hand-aged canvas
❌ You will get so used to dark, moody, Victorian aesthetic vibes that walking into a beige room will cause you physical pain.
❌ You do not need to worry about having the same generic wall art as everyone else... your space instantly looks like a secret, enchanted library.

Eclipse this evening!! 🌑

So, there’s going to be an eclipse this Evening!

I hope it feels eerie and cool, like the last one I saw years ago.
It was like something straight out of an old gothic horror movie. The sky is gonna go dark and everything is about to get super quiet for a minute.

I’ve got my glass of w**e ready. Such a cool excuse to just sit outside and look at the sky.
