We hope Mr D loves this beautiful sofa we have just re-covered in a Wm Morris Burdock & Star fabric. Mr William Morris passed away over a 100 years ago now but his designs continue to adorn many homes and are certainly passing the test of time with few signs of wavering.

Apologies that it has been a little while since our last post, I will try to be better at this.
From too much rain to cold persistent winds to a long hot summer …. It has been a tough year for most small businesses and we thank all our valued customers for supporting us and hope you all enjoy your furniture and enjoyed the Hawthorne experience, we try our very best for everyone.
As for our current trends … boucle, velvet, leather and wool are the most popular and most seem to be looking for the plain’ish look.
Greens and neutrals are the popular colours this year but the cooler months may change this.

PHONE ISSUES: Unfortunately we have a major phone issue and have just been told that it started last Thursday and we will be without phone lines for at least another 2 weeks.
We are obviously very unhappy but have to rely on others.
