I wanted to create a card to share with you all and I found the perfect starting point! The puts out a new challenge each week, alternating between colour combos, themes, sketches and CASE the designer. this week is a CASE the designer - Jay Soriano .
I created my planters using the Country Woods DSP & Easter Basket Dies, trimming off the handles and cutting one down in width. Softly blending the edges to create dimension. I used the Flowering Meadow Bundle to fill my planters with Basic White, Petal Pink, Old Olive and Pretty Peacock florals. The background is a layer of DSP from the Mixed Up Patterns Mix-in DSP on a Pecan Pie cardbase.

The Flowering Meadow Bundle has a coordinating DSP but also pairs well with the Floral Charm DSP. We don't have to buy everything and have the matching items all the time. I used a sketch from The Stampin' Lounge for my first card and some leftover bits for my second. We all have those die-cuts, stamped images and card bases that we cut for a project and never used. Why not put them together and create something beautiful.

It’s time for the Crafty Collaborations weekly monochramatic Insta hop.
Each week we will have a different colour to use and are able to add neautral tones. We can use any current products and create whatever our heart desires. lol.

This weeks colour is our new Incolor Hydrangea Hue - Soft, Tranquil & Delicate!

I have used Flowering Meadow Bundle and the Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder for texture. Randomly stamped and heat embossed white images onto watercolour card, adding Hydrangea Hue ink with a water painter. I love how the ink separates and you see beautiful blues and purples. My flowers are heat embossed in clear onto Hydrangea Hue cardstock and the centers then added with white heat embossing. Finished off with white foliage and a touch of silver foil.

I do hope that I have inspired you to reach for your Hydrangea Hue and give this card a go. Please do continue to hop round for lots more wonderful inspiration.

Creating cards for kids allows you to be a bit silly and have fun! This card is a scene that reminds be of the set of Tellytubbies. The Flowering Meadow Bundle can be used in so many ways and not all of them have be serious.
