I'm Kath and I've been running my soft furnishing business from my home for 15 years now. I offer a bespoke service for made to measure curtains, roman blinds, loose covers, cushions and trimmings. I have a wide range of fabrics to choose from however, I'm happy to use customers own fabric. I also also have a selection of co-ordinating wallpaper samples and can supply paint from The Little Gr

eene paint company. I carry out my work from the attic in my Victorian town house in Kirkby Stephen. It can be a pain working on the second floor when I'm in desperate need for a cup of tea! Saying that it's such small complaint when I love what I do and working from home. Over the years I have built up a loyal customer base with local individuals, families and businesses. I have even had people travelling as far afield as London to bring me a chair to cover. Next stop Paris, New York...or maybe just York! I can but dream.
