We carried out the final part of this amazing project today. A fantastic project with who has transformed this once empty space into this beautiful window. St Andrews church in Penrith is worth a visit to see the wonderful collection of stained glass windows. It really is the heart of Penrith.

Today we were busy carrying out in situ repairs to the windows at What is in my opinion one of the greatest buildings built on the shores of lake Windermere. The Voysey masterpiece of Broad Leys. I have spent many hours here over many years and it is just a joy to visit.

We like yo make our heritage leaded lights for listed buildings look really special by using heritage glass from Pearsons glass

This panel will be fitted into a custom made frame to replace a badly damaged steel frame. Keep a look out for this in the coming weeks when it will be fitted.

Prepping support bars for fitting. Shaping them to follow the lines within your designs makes for a sharp looking finished panel, where attention to detail is everything.

Before, after, and during pictures. In situ repairs to a door panel made by me 10 years ago. Perfect glass match for the two damaged pieces. Great yo be able to provide this service. Great to get out into the Yorkshire dales.

The evolution of the replacement border pieces. Painted on lamberts glass, using tracing line and silver stain. The silver stain was a little tricky and required a second attempt to get a full colour.
