The Artful Buttoner We are a wool, haberdashery and gift shop stocking yarns from King cole, Sirdar, woolcraft, James Br Claire & Maggie x

As well as making my lovely button art using mainly vintage buttons and jewellery I also run a gorgeous little shop called 'The Artful Buttoner - Wool & Haberdashery'. We opened our doors on the 31st January 2015 and are going from strength to strength. As well as stocking top quality wools from the likes of Sirdar, Kingcole & Woodcraft, we also stock dmc silk threads and wool. You'll find an ecle

ctic mix of haberdashery ranging from vintage to ultra modern. You'll also find lots of speciality buttons including Czech glass and handmade pot and resin ones. We rent out shelves to crafters from all over the Uk so are able to offer a fantastic selection of handmade and unique gifts for all occasions. Knit & natter, craft & chatter sessions are held most days, if you'd like more information on this sessions please call the shop. We offer crochet lessons on Saturdays mornings and Wednesday evening but again please call the shop if you'd like more information. Our intention is to hold crafting sessions on a weekly basis to showcase the fantastic work of local crafters; some of the sessions will be hands on and you'll get the opportunity to make a piece of gorgeousness to take away with you. We're a friendly bunch, so if you'd like more information please give us a call or even better, call in for a coffee and a chat.

We currently have a limited number of spaces available on our friendly and well-established crochet classes at The Artful Buttoner Yarn & Haberdashery. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to build on your existing skills, our relaxed and supportive sessions are the perfect place to learn, create and unwind.

All yarns and equipment are available to purchase in-store, and each 2-hour class is just £7.50 including refreshments ☕🧶
