Some of the many dogs I’ve had the pleasure of sharing my life with, christmasified and engraved on wooden baubles for this season’s tree or I might make a wee string for the hallway.
These can be personalised with your image and name for £5 each plus p&p (20% of all proceeds will be used to support rescues and rehoming centres)

I was thinking about how to design a greyhound based dice game, still thinking 🤔
In the meantime I had a go at creating poker / Yahtzee dice with a greyhound theme. Not got a shaker design yet but thought I’d share the finished die designs.
PS I know you only have 5 dice in Yahtzee or Poker I just wanted to show all face designs clearly.

Everyday’s a school day.
Had a go at engraving a bigger glass jar today, should probably have gone for a less photo realistic picture and more of a line drawing but you live and learn.
The same image does translate very well to slate and wood though.
Hopefully Nola likes her new jar as to date her biscuits have been kept in an old Aberlour wh**ky box.

Still trying out new material.
I bought a few 12.5 cm mirrors to try and see how clean I can get an image engraved.
Here are the first few efforts, some teething issues but I’m happy with the results so far.
I’m thinking I can use a stand as shown or a double sided adhesive pad for wall mounting. Also though they might work as a personalised table centrepiece for wedding / anniversary / birthday celebration.
No price yet but any feedback appreciated, let me know what you think.

Just about finishing up for the day but was feeling the nip in the air which inspired me to create a couple of iron on patches for beanies.
Hat with patch is £8 plus £4.50 postage as they won’t go as large letter.
Patch on its own is £3 plus £1.50 p&p
I try not to charge any additional postage cost for any additional hats or non slate other items.
The have a variety of hat colours in stock so just ask and I’ll see what I have.

Another batch of items produced for a fundraiser, this time for Greyhound Rescue Fife.
They are having a fundraising auction starting 5 October for two weeks to raise funds for feed and other essentials for the rescue hounds.
I’m sure there will be a lot of great items available, just look up the auction page Greyhound Rescue Fife Auction to be added to the group.
Anyone interested in any of the items or for more information just message my page.

Getting better at merging images and using these to create engraved gifts.
This wooden gift was produced for my Mum & Dad’s 65th anniversary merging one of their wedding photographs and a photograph taken at a family wedding earlier this year to give a ‘Then and Now’
Any enquiries are welcome.

With the TWIG Summer Coffee Morning coming up on Friday next week I’ve been busy producing a few things for the raffle and tombola stalls.
These with a few other things will be dropped off at the pub soon and I wish TWIG all the best with their fundraising efforts.
The work they do in keeping our village beautiful and a pleasure to live in is very much appreciated.
