Thanks to those who visited last week’s exhibition. Hope to see you again next year! A contribution of £150 has been made to Tree Aid, from the exhibition proceeds. It is a charity whose aims I support, and through which I can thank Africa for her wonderful textiles.

Tree Aid works with communities across Africa, harnessing the power of trees to restore ecosystems and support lasting livelihoods.

Excited that at last I can add some South African shweshwe to my stock. Wonderful strong fabric with gorgeous colours and designs. The real McCoy - under the trade name ‘Three Cats’ - has a distinctive smell (nice!) and feel . It’s known as the ‘South African denim’.

Don’t forget that tomorrow marks the start of the new Facebook rule (also known as Meta), which allows them to use your photos. Don't forget the deadline is today!!!
Hold your finger anywhere in this message and “copy” will appear. Click “copy. Then go to your page, create a new post, and place your finger anywhere in the empty field. “Paste” will appear, and click Paste.
This will bypass the system….
