When I created Prim & Proper By Maxi I visualised what it was I wanted to give the consumer. The key to the heart of a consumer is trust. You want to purchase something you can rely on. Our products give you more, they work the way you want, plus allow you the piece of mind that they wont pollute your environment or home with harmful chemicals. They help you to unwind a 100% natural soy wax candle burns much cleaner an lasts longer. Each beautiful candle is made with love in a lovely log cabin in North Yorkshire. We have chosen the highest quality soy wax and expertly paired this with natural essences wherever possible. Reed diffusers and votives compliment the range and are available in exquisite gift boxes also handmade in Yorkshire.

OCTOBER MARKET DATES

October has arrived, and with it comes all the cosy little things I love about this time of year… warm homes, soft blankets, twinkling lights and beautiful seasonal fragrances filling the air.

I’ll be bringing P&P Home Scents to some gorgeous markets across North Yorkshire throughout October, with my collection of hand-poured home fragrance, thoughtful gifts and all those rich, comforting autumn scents that make home feel that little bit more luxurious.

Saturday 3rd October — Knaresborough Castle 10am–3pm.

Wednesday 7th October — Northallerton High Street 9am–3pm.

Saturday 10th October — Easingwold 9am–2pm.

Sunday 11th October — Wetherby 10am–3pm.

Saturday 17th October — Northallerton High Street 9am–3pm.

Sunday 18th October — Thirsk | 10am–3pm.

Wednesday 21st October — Northallerton High Street 9am–3pm.

Saturday 24th October — Malton 10am–3pm.

Sunday 25th October — Ripon 10am–3pm.

The Little Bird Artisan Markets are Knaresborough Castle, Easingwold, Wetherby, Thirsk, Malton and Ripon.

A slight change of plan for tomorrow…

I won’t be at Northallerton tomorrow 16th September as originally planned. Instead, I’m taking an extra day behind the scenes to make, pour and restock ready for the weekend.

But you won’t have to wait long! I’ll now be at Northallerton High Street on Saturday 19th September, 9am–3pm, with lots of your favourites and gorgeous seasonal scents.

Then on Sunday 20th September, 10am–3pm, you’ll find me in Thirsk with Little Bird Artisan Markets.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by my little mobile shop in July, made a purchase, shared a kind word or simply came over for a chat. Your support means the absolute world to me, and you’ve made July one to remember.

Now I’m looking ahead to a busy August, and I can’t wait to get back out to some wonderful markets across North Yorkshire.

A big thank you to Little Bird Made Artisan Markets for organising so many fantastic events and bringing together such a lovely community of makers and shoppers. We always look forward to their markets.

A new month, new markets, and hopefully lots of familiar faces…

July is shaping up to be one of our busiest months yet, and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful.

Every market gives us the opportunity to meet wonderful people, hear your fragrance stories, refill well-loved candles, and help you find a scent that makes your house feel like home. Those moments are the reason I love what I do.

This month is especially exciting as we’ll also be joining Northallerton High Street every Wednesday as a new regular market. I can’t wait to become part of the community there and meet so many new faces along the way.

Alongside Northallerton, you’ll also find us at some of our favourite Little Bird Artisan Markets throughout July, including Ripon Theatre Festival, Easingwold, Thirsk, Malton, Ripon and finishing the month celebrating Yorkshire Day at Knaresborough Castle.

Whether you’re visiting to browse, refill a favourite candle, discover a new signature fragrance, or simply stop by for a chat, you’ll always receive the warmest welcome.

I’m so sorry not to be in Harrogate today

I was really looking forward to being back at Valley Gardens and seeing so many of you, so this one is especially hard to miss.

Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support, it truly means more than I can say. I never take it for granted.
