The hardworking rooms deserve a little love too 🤍

I love the mix of practical storage and thoughtful details here: the soft cabinetry, brass tap, scalloped light and that view through the window. It’s a lovely reminder that even a small space can feel considered and full of character.

Is there a room in your home you’d love to make more of?

Before & after 🤍

My client wanted to fall back in love with her bedroom — a space she’d stopped enjoying being in.

With considered design guidance, we made confident choices to create a calmer, warmer and more personal room that now feels beautifully pulled together.

Whether you need a focused Design Consultation, help pulling one room together, or support from first ideas through to a finished home, I can tailor my help to what you need.

If there’s a room in your home that isn’t feeling right, contact me to book a free discovery call — I’d love to hear about it.

I don’t think I’ll ever tire of a stripe, I just love them.

This beautiful striped wallpaper from House of Hackney is a reminder of just how versatile they can be — bringing colour, rhythm and a little personality to a room.

Whether it’s on a cushion, blind, chair or wall, a stripe can be used quietly or make more of a statement. I think there’s nearly always a place for one.

Are you a stripe person?

A little behind the scenes from my current diploma assignment.

I’ve been working on the lighting plan for a multi-purpose family room, thinking about how it needs to work at different times of day — whether someone is reading, the children are doing homework, everyone is gathered around the table, or the room is simply being used to relax in during the evening.

Lighting is so important in any interior scheme as it can significantly change the feel of a space. It isn’t just about making sure a room is bright enough; it’s about creating the right atmosphere and making the room work properly for the people using it 🤍

Some of the biggest decisions in a home can seem straightforward at first.

But a sofa, kitchen or wallpaper choice needs to feel right not only now, but in the way you live every day.

Sometimes, having a little space to talk it through and make sense of the options can make all the difference.

If you’re feeling stuck with a room or an important decision, send me a DM — I’d love to hear about your home.

Bold wallpaper doesn’t have to mean a busy room.

Using this beautiful House of Hackney print as the starting point, I’ve picked out one of the blues, kept the larger pieces calm and added warm, natural textures.

If you’ve found a wallpaper you love but aren’t sure what comes next, that’s exactly the kind of decision I can help with. DM to chat 🤍.

Good design isn’t always about spending more — sometimes it’s about choosing well.

A few considered choices can completely change how a space feels, and knowing where to spend and where to save can make your budget work much harder.

That’s where I can help 🤍

Happy Yorkshire Day from Whitby 🤍. The day wouldn’t be complete without a trip to my favourite interiors shop and as expected, I left feeling inspired. So many beautiful pieces full of texture, natural materials and timeless character. Exactly the kind of details I love bringing together to create layered, considered interiors.

I think everyone loves a before and after so here's one of the kitchen and lounge at the Whitby beach house project.

The space has been transformed from a tired, dated space into a relaxed coastal retreat, inspired by the colours and textures of the shoreline.

Simple, timeless and designed to be enjoyed by the whole family 🤍

DM me if you want to chat about your coastal or country project!
