Saturday December 20th is the last day to order gift vouchers in time for Christmas delivery. If you choose express delivery they will be sent via Riyal Mails tracked 24 service. You can choose to have your voucher sent directly to the recipient, I’ll gift wrap it and write a message for you inside the gift card. There are full instructions included on how to send me a photograph of their handwriting so that I can turn it into an embroidered artwork.

It’s officially cheese board season! Friday 6th December will be the last day to place an order for an embroidered handwriting product before Christmas. Gift vouchers for embroidered handwriting are available through .co and can be sent the next day.

I’ve come to ask for some help! When I started Pins & Needles, my main inspiration was creating artworks from children’s pictures and handwriting, the pieces that really made you smile and were just too good to be kept in a school book or on a scrap of paper. I haven’t made them over the past few years, since having my little girl Ruby, but Ruby starts school in September (how has that happened so quickly?!) and I’ll have a bit more time to sew, so I’d like the children’s pictures and writing to make a comeback. I need some new product photos and I’ve exhausted my stash of school diary stories, so if you have some hidden gems in your children’s school books then send me a photo, by next Friday, 26th July, and I will choose my favourite and turn it into a sewn artwork for you. Tag a friend that might have a child who’s heading home this week with a pile of school books full of funny stories.

I found the perfect branch of catkins on my way home from the park today, so Easter photo faffing can commence! I’ll be adding these little Easter egg hanging decorations when preschool days start again on Wednesday.

I feel like I’m just getting into the mindset of Christmas and realising how few child-free days I have to get everything sorted!
