The weather forecast means different things to different people but to retailers it can give a sense of dread that a day can be thrown away when a storm is due.

People make different choices and many do different things to stay dry and safe at home.

As I drove into town today I formulated a new plan in my mind so not to let the day go to waste but soon realised we are made of hardy stuff up north....so by 10am I had put my "to do" list away and enjoyed our normal Saturday banter and wrapped and packed some lovely gifts.

We had a proper soggy Saturday but each and everyone of our lovely customers made our day worth while.

Be brave, don't panic and always be and do you....it really worked for today

Thank you thank you thank you for believing in what we do at The Little Shop of Handmade Loveliness down James Lane.
