One of my recent drawings for a customer. I found it a real challenge to do the background as I’m not a landscape artist at all, but the customer absolutely loved it so thats all that matters! Pretty pleased with it myself to be honest 😁

The first picture is how my drawings start out, as a photo you love, I then take it and capture that moment in a drawing for you 🥰

Each drawing costs £10 and with that you get two digital copies of the drawing. You receive one thats best for digital use e.g. sharing on social media or using as your phone background. The second copy is best to be used to print out so if you want to get it printed and displayed in your home you can!

As a mother I sometimes look at my baby and think ‘oh how I wish I had a camera in my eyes to capture this moment’ because a camera never captures it right.

When I come to get you out of your cot in the morning and you look up at me with such love and joy in your eyes. Oh how I wish I could take a picture with my eyes because a camera never does it justice.

When I feed you and you look up at me so intently with trust in your eyes. Oh how I wish I could take a picture with my eyes because a camera never does it justice.

When I sit and play with you and you smile and giggle with such joy. Oh how I wish I could take a picture with my eyes because a camera never does it justice.

When you get bored and tired so you look at me and stretch out your arms yearning for comfort. Oh how I wish I could take a picture with my eyes because a camera never does it justice.

When I take you out on a walk and you look at the world around you intrigued and soaking it all in. Oh how I wish I could take a picture with my eyes because a camera never does it justice.

When we’re out and about and you look back at me occasionally for reassurance and comfort. Oh how I wish I could take a picture with my eyes because a camera never does it justice.

When I haven’t seen you in a few hours and you look at me with such glee like all is now right with the world. Oh how I wish I could take a picture with my eyes because a camera never does it justice.

When I give you your bath and you’re absolutely elated and splashing around having such fun. Oh how I wish I could take a picture with my eyes because a camera never does it justice.

When I wrestle you to get you dressed and you wriggle around giving me a very unimpressed look. Oh how I wish I could take a picture with my eyes because a camera never does it justice.

When I read you your bedtime story and you look up at me taking in every word I say as your eyes get heavier and you fight to keep them open. Oh how I wish I could take a picture with my eyes because a camera never does it justice.

When I rock you to sleep in my arm and you look so peacefully angelic. Oh how I wish I could take a picture with my eyes because a camera never does it justice.

When you wake up at 3 in the morning wet right through crying your eyes out and you see me and stretch out your arms yearning for me to scoop you up and make it all better. Oh how I wish I could take a picture with my eyes because a camera never does it justice.

All these moments I wish I could take a picture with my eyes, but I’m glad I stay in that moment with you instead of trying to capture it. I promise to always be present and capture that moment with my eyes and treasure it forever as a beautiful memory.

A few months ago I thought I’d have a go at drawing again, I drew my favorite picture of me feeding my son and posted it online.
