🔎 I’m looking to grow my business and you may be able to help!
Hi, I’m Jodi, a furniture upcycler based in Epsom. I sell unique, painted and refinished furniture as well as the paint and products to upcycle with. I teach upcycling workshops and host creative evenings and I’m looking for an affordable space for my furniture painting, upcycling workshops, private tuition and creative sessions as well as the option for some light retail.
Maybe you have a shop space to share, or a barn that isn’t used, perhaps there a studio space going in your building? I’m open to ideas! 👀

It doesn’t need to be fancy — just somewhere practical, welcoming and with a bit of creative potential! ✨

Ideally I’m looking for:

🪑 Space for small groups & 1-1 tuition
💡 Good natural lighting & Electricity
💧 Water would be a bonus and access to loos
🚗 Easy parking / access
🛍️ The option to sell/show furniture & paints
📍 Ideally Epsom / Ewell / Ashtead / Leatherhead / surrounding areas
💷 And… the more affordable, the better! 😅

I’m open to shared spaces, studio/workshop spaces, unused rooms, community spaces, commercial spaces or somewhere a little outside the box.

I’d ideally like somewhere I can use, work in regularly and sell from rather than just a one-off hire.

So if you have a space, know someone who does, or have a “hmm… I wonder if that could work?” thought…

💞 A lovely couple came across my floral hand-painted trio of side tables and it was perfect for their colourful, floral home! 🌺 🙌🏻

So much so that when they came to collect, they bought along a SECOND set for me to work my magic on!!🪄🤩

🤎 And so…. from one nest of tables to the next, let’s turn these brown chunky tables into a pretty floral statement piece, bespoke for my clients home! 🌺 🌷 🌼💐

The SECRET is out!! 🥳
When the invite arrived asking me to be one of 4 artists across Europe to take part in the first Alchemy Collective, I jumped at the chance - I absolutely LOVE this amazing paint from the Fusion range!

The brief was simple:
🎨 One Palette
💫 One Theme
👩‍🎨 Four Artists
💡 Four Visions

The theme? SUMMER GLOW!!! 😍 It’s then up to each artist to interpret the theme in their own way, using only 3 colours 👇🏻

🩷 Raspberry
💜 Thistle
💛 Harvest

I had SO much fun with this project and I can’t wait to see what the other artists created (and of course to reveal mine!) 👀

💞A little business update…

After a year at The Stockroom, I’ve now closed that chapter and brought all of my furniture stock and paint home.

It feels strange, exciting and slightly terrifying all at once! 😅

But I’m choosing to see it as the start of a new chapter for Upcycled & Reloved by Jodi — and, honestly, I don’t quite know what that chapter looks like yet.

What I do know is that I’m not going anywhere!💞

You can still shop Fusion Mineral Paint and my other products online, and I’ll also be offering local collection/purchase by appointment from home (Epsom) while I work out my next move.
My commissions diary is unaffected and I’ll still be transforming clients furniture into statement pieces 🤩

And there are definitely some ideas brewing… 👀

I’m taking a little time to regroup, rethink and figure out exactly where I want to take the business next.

Something new is coming. I just don’t know exactly what it is yet! (Whoever said owning your own business would be easy?! 🤷🏼‍♀️)
