Thank you to everyone who has voted in our poll and taken the time to message us throughout the morning.
Following the overwhelming feedback received, and after careful consideration, we have made the decision to postpone both Saturdayโs Inhand, Ridden & Working Hunter Show and Sundayโs Dressage Competition.
Whilst Sundayโs temperatures are forecast to be considerably cooler, a large number of competitors have understandably expressed concerns about preparing and exercising their horses safely throughout the week, particularly with temperatures expected to reach the mid-30s on Friday. As always, the welfare of horses and riders must come first, and we completely understand these concerns.
We know many of you were looking forward to competing this weekend and postponing events is never something we take lightly. However, we believe this is the right decision and one that reflects the wishes of the majority of our competitors.
