As with every job, all walls were thoroughly sanded and filled before papering. Every joint was then filled and sanded to ensure a smooth, seamless finish and to help prevent any bubbling once painted.

Every window and door was thoroughly sanded and filled before painting to ensure a smooth, long-lasting finish. We then applied 2 coats of Zinsser AllCoat to all windows and doors, leaving them looking fresh and protected.

This week we completed a full redecoration of 4 bedrooms, the hallway, living room, and kitchen for a lovely household in Scarcroft.

The walls had suffered from heavy candle smoke staining, so preparation was key. We started by thoroughly sugar soaping every wall to remove the smoke residue and create a clean surface to work from. Once dry, we sanded all walls and ceilings before applying the first coat.

After the first coat, we filled all holes and imperfections, then carried out a final sand before wiping every surface down to remove all dust. This ensured a smooth, professional finish before applying the final coats.

The customer also chose two feature walls finished in GoodHome Brooklyn with a subtle sparkle effect, which really transformed the rooms and added a touch of character.
