We made a mistake with our hallway flooringā¦ and weāre finally putting it right. šš¼
When we first moved in, we opted for cheap laminate in the hallway and downstairs loo because, wellā¦ budget and pure desperation to replace the grotty carpets as quick as possible. And letās just say it did NOT stand the test of time. š¤¦š¼āāļø
So this time around, we wanted something that was going to be practical and hard-wearing. The hallway is one of the hardest-working areas of the house, especially with two kids, muddy shoes and approximately 47 trips in and out of the front door every dayā¦ so getting the right flooring really matters.
Weāve been getting some help from the [AD] team to help us choose a new flooring which will last and look good for years to come. Weāve gone for click LVT planks, something we wish weād chosen the first time around! After getting our free samples weāve finally decided on the perfect design.Ā
I cannot wait to show you the finished result - because apparently renovating a house for 10 year means occasionally admitting you got something VERY wrong the first time. š
