From a simple sea shell to a stunning decorative piece...

This shell makeover proves that with a little creativity, even the simplest finds can become something completely unique. I started with a base coat, followed by Posh Chalk Crackle Gel and white paint to create a beautiful crackled background. I then added Posh Chalk Rice Paper, allowing the translucent design to show through the crackle effect. But the finishing touch? A WoodUbend moulding. Heat it, bend it, shape it and watch as it transforms into a flexible decorative detail that can be moulded perfectly to your project. Once cooled, it becomes rigid again and stays exactly where you placed it. Finished with Posh Chalk Pale Gold Pigment, this little shell has had a serious transformation. Three days to switch off, relax, get creative, have a laugh and make something beautiful to take home.

Whether you join us for one class or make a whole weekend of it, it’s all about having fun, learning new techniques, enjoying some creative time and taking a little time out for yourself.

FRIDAY 13TH NOVEMBER

10am–1pm — HOLIDAY BAUBLES | £45

Create your own beautiful festive bauble using decoupage techniques, WoodUbend and Magic Paint

You’ll also have the choice of creating a flat bauble instead.

A relaxed, hands-on morning of creativity where you can switch off, have fun and make something gorgeous for Christmas.

2pm–5pm — CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATION | £45

Create your own statement Christmas tree decoration using WoodUbend trims, Magic Paint, Posh Chalk metallic pastes, raised stencilling and Posh Chalk pigments.

Build up layers of detail and create a beautifully finished piece ready for the festive season.

SATURDAY 14TH NOVEMBER

10am–4pm — FULL-DAY FURNITURE MAKEOVER | £145

Bring your own piece of furniture and spend the day with SollyJo & Sue, relaxing, getting creative and completely transforming it.

You’ll learn layering, crackle and vintage techniques, creating depth, texture and character in your piece.

Your furniture must be no larger than:

50cm wide × 40cm deep × 60cm high

It needs to fit comfortably on our benches — no bending down, we look after our backs!

All materials, refreshments and snacks are included, plus a light lunch.

SUNDAY 15TH NOVEMBER

10am–1pm — CHUNKY DIY TABLE RISER | £45

Create your own chunky table riser using WoodUbend trims, including assembling the legs.

You’ll work with Posh Chalk pigments, raised stencilling, metallic pastes, staining and distressing techniques to create your own unique piece.

3pm–6pm — DECORATIVE BOTTLE | £45

Choose an alcoholic or non-alcoholic sparkling w**e and transform your bottle using decoupage, WoodUbend and Magic Paint.

Create something beautiful to gift or take home and use on your dinner table.
