The countdown is on for our next overseas project & we wanted to share some of the fabrics and wall coverings that we’ve specified. They include a fabulous embroidered tiger that’s going to make the most amazing wall hanging for the villas landing area.

Drawing inspiration from the islands unique mangrove and water side location we wanted the scheme to feel layered, natural and connected to its surroundings. Can’t wait to share some more details from this project!

We are all nursing a hangover after we officially yesterday welcomed Rebecca to be another Mrs Beckett. I am juggling site visits with joiners etc and receiving some beautiful deliveries for our Abu Dhabi project! Yes get us! We are a small family business, but we are lucky enough to be on our third full project abroad. This one is going to be a beautiful villa with simplicity and calmness with minimal interiors like the surroundings of Jubail Island,and just like our beautiful clients ❤️

Some details we added to this new build to create interest and depth.

- a dropped ceiling around the perimeter of the room. Doing this creates instant dimension to an otherwise flat ceiling. Adding a dimmable led for the perfect soft glow.

- recessed curtain headings. By dropping the ceiling we also create a void to fit curtain tracks, concealing the heading for a more refined, considered finish.

- wall to wall curtains add drama and a hotel like feel.

- recessed voiles soften harsh edges of windows

- textured wallpaper on all the walls is a non-negotiable ✨

3 different rooms, 1 cohesive atmosphere.

Our Adel project had warmth, texture & understated luxury running through the heart of it. Each space with its own features but a clear identity tying the schemes together.

Sat having a coffee in the sunshine, and thinking how are we still here today after almost 17 years🥰.Our industry is tough, and the change in how we all shop has changed so dramatically. We are so lucky that so many great people trust in our ability to help make their homes more beautiful and we spend a lot of time in them so why can’t we make them as wonderful as we can individually afford.
