In an age of mass production, we believe in preserving the artistry, patience, and integrity of making things slowly.

By continuing to make all of our lighting here in the UK, we hope to play a small part in keeping British manufacturing alive — honouring the heritage of our area, the makers who came before us, and the enduring beauty of objects made to stand the test of time..

A true labour of love. The Large Dawson.
The ideal country kitchen pendant light.
Made entirely by hand, right here in Staffordshire.

We created a bespoke porcelain light featured on Guy Martins new programme on Channel 4.

We created this bespoke light for Alan and Annne James who painstakingly converted into a Passivhaus and created a church conversion of exception standards.

I designed a few initial concepts for the main space, and they finally settling on this design. Featuring 11 large porcelain cylinders suspended over various lengths from a bespoke black rectangular ceiling rose designed to fit discretely over the wooden beam above.

I thought the porcelain cylinders were symbolic of the type of pillar candles that would have been used in the church back in its hey day.

I’m really proud of this work, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see something that we made on the TV!

There was also a feature in Grand Designs magazine and another TV feature on Discovery called Derelict Rescue.

Big thank you again to Anne and Alan for thinking of us when they commissioned this light.

Serving as the quiet centerpiece of a room, orchestrating atmosphere and drawing the eye with an elegance that defines the space.

As a maker I absolutely love seeing the work I make in our little workshop in Staffordshire in the beautiful homes they eventually adorn.

Quite often we receive online orders for our lighting and never actually end up seeing the homes they end up in, so it’s always a pleasure to receive images like these!

Thanks for sharing these with us, spectacular.

Sharing a work in progress photo of a new project we are working on with Margaret O’rourke .ororke
Featuring a multitude of cascading translucent porcelain panels, layered over back lit LEDs to create a feature illuminated wall.

Please get in touch with either of us to discuss possibilities for this design.
We are looking for hotels, restaurants or private residences to create eye catching installations for.
