Fabric Journals…

Basically a scrapbook but for fabric, stitches, lace, ribbon, buttons, paint, ink, stickers…. The list goes on!

It’s a lovely hobby to have with no rules and so you can let your imagination really flow.

And you don’t have to have any experience to create in one, a few simple stitches and scraps of fabric get you started.

So instead of keeping all those crafting materials stashed away in a drawer for that perfect project, why not start and use them now!?

And if you’re totally new to hand stitching, just join my free Skool Community where there are mini tutorials to get you started and also help with inspiration for your journal pages if you need it.

Morning everyone.

I’ve been taking part in Craft everyday in October Challenge for CoppaFeel! a charity that raises awareness of Breast Cancer in young people and I’m now over half way through the challenge.
I’m making a Bead Embroidery on a 9 inch embroidery hoop and doing a bit each day.
I’ve had to take my embroidery to Spain with me and also Whitby!
First few pics are in my bed in the morning in Spain and last pics are of me sewing at the service station while the car charges and in bed!

Are you someone who loves to craft in the comfort of your own home?

Think pjs on, tv on, fire on, lots of brews and your latest project.

Well how about trying a new slow stitching project?

My 3 Sew at Home kits are designed for you to create your own totally unique pieces of work.
There are no rules, so there’s no pressure,
you can create exactly what you want to but with help and guidance from me if you need it.

All of them include limited vintage and preloved materials and are packaged together by me in my home!

Each kit has an online tutorial included for you to follow.
I also have a free Community on the Skool app that you can join where you can ask questions and get advise on your projects from afar should you need it.

There are also mini tutorials including to show you how to master some simple stitches to get you started if you’re new to hand sewing.

Or, if you’re like me and you have loads of fabric and materials at home already, there’s an option with all of them to just buy the tutorial on there own and use up some of your bits instead of buying more!

These tutorials are also perfect if you live far away from me as they can be accessed from anywhere!
One of my customers lives in Australia and has made her own beautiful journal after watching the tutorials!

I’m so looking forward to this!

I recently went along to one of Anna’s Journalling sessions and it was absolutely brilliant!

It was so relaxing but also emotional and helpful too! With Anna’s help from the prompts she gave, I got clarity with my thoughts which really helped me in both my work and private life.

We’re going to be in a private room at the fabulous The QUARTER @ Potbank and you’ll be able to enjoy lovely drinks from the cafe while you work.
