Reupholstered in a richly textured terracotta fabric from × , the new fabric accentuates every curve and completely transforms their presence.

Now settled into the beautiful surroundings of .k.curatedspace, they’ll become part of countless shoots, creative ideas and inspiring projects.

A month of making.

From statement Roman blinds and double pinch pleat curtains to bespoke upholstery and banquette seating, no two projects this month were quite the same.

That’s one of the things I love most about bespoke work. Every home has its own challenges, style and personality, and the best solutions are rarely identical.

Why do bespoke blinds cost more?

Bay windows are a great example.

This installation required five separate blinds, each measured individually because no two sections of the bay were exactly the same.

The brief was to keep the gaps between the blinds as small as possible whilst maintaining blackout performance.

The best bespoke work often goes unnoticed. The finished result looks simple, but a lot of thought goes into making it feel that way.

When you find the perfect chair, you don’t replace it.

This one had spent years sitting in the sun in my client’s favourite corner at home,

so we gave it a new life in Pavo Duck Egg by

From sun-bleached to sleek ✨

My client had the perfect spot to sit in her living room, right beside these gorgeous large windows that flood the space with natural light. But after a good few years, her favourite chair had definitely started to show the effects of all that sunshine.

When you’ve got a chair that’s comfortable, well made, and fits your home perfectly, it feels such a shame to replace it. So instead, we gave it a whole new lease of life through reupholstery.

My client loved that the original fabric had once been duck egg blue, so we chose ‘Pavo’ by , which also features beautiful flecks of yellow running through the pattern (swipe to pic 3 to see the detail ✨).

As well as recovering the chair, it also had new webbing and re-stuffing to bring back its shape and comfort.

Roman blinds work especially well in hallways and landing spaces where you want softness and pattern without the bulk of full curtains.

For this project with we used the same beautiful fabric across both upstairs and downstairs blinds to create a more cohesive feel throughout the home and I love how tailored the finished result feels in this space.

Roman blinds frame a window so beautifully while adding warmth, texture, and pattern without overwhelming a space.

Whenever asks me to create soft furnishings for a project, I know it’s going to be something special and this hallway was no exception.

We used the same linen for both the upstairs and downstairs blinds to create a sense of continuity throughout the space. I love how perfectly it works against the stained glass and deep green woodwork. I also love working with Jess’s stunning fabrics!

This dining room was ready for a softer feel, better flow and smarter seating.

We transformed the space with custom channel tufted bench cushions, a handmade Roman blind and bespoke soft furnishings tailored to the room.

The finished space feels warm, calm and much more inviting 🤍

The moment I saw this corner, I knew those curtains had to go. It was crying out for colour, texture, something worthy of that view ⛪️

Roman blinds were the winner to transform this space.
Perfect for low-light spaces, they fold neatly to around 30cm, letting in as much natural light as possible while keeping things soft and elegant.

Ideal too when there’s little wall space for curtains to sit back properly.

We chose this stunning velvet by -‘Passiflora’.

A rich botanical print that brings the outside in, while still respecting the character and history of this medieval room

If your windows deserve better, you know where I am. 🪟✨
