💁🏻‍♀️All our hard work is hidden!

The most important aspect of your upholstery is hidden, which is why it is so difficult to find a quality chair or sofa now.

💁🏻‍♀️Customers see the fabric, but the real skill is underneath.

A quality reupholstery job includes rebuilding worn padding, checking springs, repairing webbing, & strengthening the frame if needed. It does not involve recovery, which is just renewing the fabric and keeping the original upholstery underneath.

🤗The fabric is only the finishing touch.

The comfort and longevity come from what’s underneath. The layers that are built up.

If these layers are not done correctly, it can result in a faster break down in future years, resulting in lumpy seating.

😉That’s why two chairs can look identical on the outside but feel completely different, and how one chair can last 5 years and another 500 years!

⚠️ Industry Update:
Due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East, particularly surrounding Iran, upholsterers are continuing to experience significant increases in raw material costs across the foam industry.

Since early March, Polyol prices have risen by approximately 60% and TDI by around 35%, resulting in foam block costs increasing by more than 40% over the past two months. As you can imagine, for a small business especially, this is a big dent in our profit margins.

As a result, we regrettably have no option but to implement a further increase of on average 8% on our foam pricing from today.

Please be assured that we are doing everything possible to minimise the impact of these increases and remain committed to reviewing and reducing prices as soon as raw material costs begin to stabilise.
