Today is a very special day because Amanda’s Treasures is 10 years old! 🥂✨

10 years of treasures, transformations, hard work, learning, challenges, laughter, and so many amazing people along the way.

But most importantly… 10 years because of YOU. ❤️

To every customer who has bought from me, trusted me with your furniture, attended a class, supported a workshop or simply cheered me on….. THANK YOU!

To every follower who likes, comments, shares and interacts with my posts…..THANK YOU. Every little bit of support means more than you probably realise.

And especially to those of you who recommend me to your friends, family, colleagues and anyone you think might need my help… 🥹❤️

You are the reason my business continues to grow.

Word of mouth has been such a huge part of my journey, and I genuinely wouldn’t be where I am today without the people who have said:

🧵 WHY REUPHOLSTER?

Sometimes the question isn’t:

“How much does it cost to reupholster?”

It’s:

“How much would it cost to replace this with something of the same quality?”

And that’s where things get interesting…

A piece of furniture may have:

✔️ A solid hardwood frame.
✔️ Quality craftsmanship.
✔️ Beautiful proportions.
✔️ Traditional construction.
✔️ Sentimental value.
✔️ Years of life left in it.

Replacing it might mean buying something that doesn’t have the same quality, character or longevity.

Reupholstery allows you to keep the furniture you love and change the parts that no longer work for you.

Different fabric.

Different colour.

Different look.

Same piece of furniture, completely new life.

So next time you’re tempted to replace that tired chair or sofa…

Winding up another productive and thoroughly enjoyable week in the Sewing room!

I’m just finishing another two sets of floor to ceiling sheer curtains……

These are such a satisfying job. Elegant, stylish and functional, making such a difference to a rooms lighting and feel.
