If you've ever wondered what my dream storage solution looks like, this is it,

a lovely large box in beautiful working, functional order, not only is it practical, it's also very pretty; I rescued this from a house where it sat in the garage for a number of years unused, my eyes lit up and I saw tonnes of space for shoes at first; and then came the stunning floral details which were such a lovely design feature.

It had been loved once upon a time but was now crying out for some attention to extend it's story; the new chapter now involves hand-painted green & warm white stripes which have been given a soft look as opposed to hard lines to suit a country cottage theme,

Hallways, playrooms, boot rooms, bedrooms, shoes everywhere, this blanket box needs you 💪

Please do message me if you need any extra info, I would be so happy to help!

Height 73cm Width 93cm Depth 49cm

£695. UK Delivery or Local Collection from my studio in Northamptonshire/ Leicestershire available.

All the colours 🩷🫶🥰

As an artist often we are expected to have a deep reason as to why we are painting something... and for some people art can be really emotionally charged and a form of expression, or perhaps a way of documenting or saying something important, honestly though with me its not that deep, at least I don't think it is at the moment....

just the child in me staying a child and putting together all the pretty and sometimes unexpected colour combo's. It's just about joy, experimenting and loving the process... I guess maybe that's my reason when it comes to artwork...

Hope you can see the happy here!

Excited to be taking commissions again for floral artwork, after moving I am definitely missing the creativity, watch this space!

Feels like a blur but in the summer I filmed a couple of shows for BBC1 Money For Nothing literally squeezed in the projects right before we moved house and it feels like ages ago... but it actually wasn't!!

I can't show process so this is all you will see until the episodes air (likely next year 🤷‍♀️) but I am very grateful this has sold!

At one point when I was first asked to contribute to this project, I had a mid century restoration on my mind but then completely changed my mind, going down the art route, I am pleased I did!

Thankyou Sarah Moore for trusting me with this :-)

Before you say it, I 100% miss my garden and workshop 😭 it was painful to leave it, but you know things can change... and sometimes (eventually) they might turn out even better, Iife is for living and experiencing... and all that stuff ;-)

Full view of 'Rosa' an antique wall cabinet which is a little bit different to most, having been covered with hand-painted bespoke blooms and stems on a khaki green backdrop 🌿🌼 I promise you will never see another ;-)

I am definitely thinking a key cupboard...

So lets hope this finds a home soon, it's basically too pretty to be in storage :-)

A close up of a little wall cabinet I have been working on, I really am obsessed with wall cabinets and since moving have realised just how much. Need to try and find a spot for what seems to be a large collection of them!!

This is an antique piece, hand-painted in earthy but bright tones, khaki green, mustard, and sienna tones; and is a lovely little piece of functional art, much more useful than a painting and could store keys, lotions and potions in the bathroom or spices even.

It's now available on the website, please just ask me anything!
