The perfect gift for anyone out there born 17:10:1969 because that’s when this Guy Rogers ‘Virginia’ Armchair rolled off the production line as you’ll see albeit backwards on the second photo. The frame has been given a glow up, the webbing has been replaced and the original shaped foam inners have been recovered in a hard wearing deep dark army grey. Very comfortable and cheap as chips because I just don’t have the space to store it! £150 and it’s yours and I’ll even deliver within a 10 mile radius from Kibworth for free!

Just delivered an Ercol 203/3 sofa to a friend and planklong customer as he wanted a deeper seat than his 334/3 which is now looking for a new home. I’ve taken photos as is but will give her a ‘little glow up’ before she’s sold (this doesn’t mean a complete strip down btw just in case anyone’s wondering) The history is that my friend came and helped me out when I was under the cosh and in lieu of payment, at his suggestion, I gave him a sofa frame in the darkest finish. He took it home and basically did what I usually do! Since completion two of the joints failed resulting in 3 of the legs snapping off but being a ‘boating man’ he fixed them all (very,very well) and she’s remained sound since. The cover has been washed and has come up nice and fresh and the foam which has a Dacron and stockinette wrap will be steamed to make sure it’s fresh and plump, a trick I’ve recently discovered which works brilliantly! The webbing although a little slack is sound. All in all she’s a lovely little sofa who needs a mew home. £250? Let me know

Another customer from the Clarendon Park shop days has been in touch and asked me to see if anyone is interested in her BARGET Table and chairs. They were purchased from me around 12 years ago. The set is in fantastic condition with the original fabric on the seats - just one of them has a very small hole which I’m sure would be easily mendable.
