We discovered this magical boutique hotel in Chania Crete in 2024 and came here in the September just before we got married in October. In January I found out I was pregnant so in Spring/summer 2025 we didn’t travel but as soon as spring of 2026 appeared, myself & my now husband couldn’t wait to get back to this haven and take our 6 month old son which was simply the most magical & special experience.
There’s a part of me that didn’t want to make this reel because if everyone now rushes to this perfect spot and books it we may not be able to book our little corner of heaven in the future but I don’t gate keep and something so special simply must be shared.
is in the beautiful island of Chania in Crete. It is a 15 minute drive from the airport and is a 10 minute walk along the coast to the harbour with waterside restaurants and the beautiful ‘old town’ with cobbled, winding, beautiful streets of unique independent shops - you can also take boat trips out of the harbour…it is simply the perfect summer break away.
The hotel itself is the height of luxury - the restaurant and breakfast is like no where I’ve ever eaten before, the food is a ritual. The pool is quiet, heated, tranquil with whirlpool bath jets - there’s a sauna and many of the rooms have their own outdoor private mini pools too.
I have travelled a lot in my life and have never found somewhere that I wish to come back to year after year…until now.
