Started in 1974 by Helene & Bill Sturrock, and still owned by them today. Letham Craft Shop has become a crafters haven, offering a wide array of craft goods, free advice and a warm welcome. Its the customer's loyalty and support over the years that has made it a success. Our main core of stock is ever changing and has done over the years as fashion does and new crafts are introduced or old ones re-introduced. The shop its self is known as Aladdins Cave - A quote straight from the women herself "the untidiness is deliberate, I think people like to rummage and find bits and pieces they may not be familiar with - it often sparks a new idea for them". Please pay us a visit but remember you'll need a couple of hours to take it all in! (and time for a cuppie too off course)

With the new stock coming in consistently and the changes around the shop, we're somtimes asked if there's been a change in ownership. Always been the same family since 1974

We're inviting everyone to come by for a visit, open everyday for crafts and gifts. Our café next door will keep you going with breakfast, lunch, cakes and coffees too.

We think she’s done a simply amazing job, very well done

These 20 to make books are a great help and very easy to follow. Also helps make sure you’re not stuck thinking what you’re next project might be

Fabric Friday is here - this time we’re showcasing a large delivery of chiffon

This has so many uses from helping decorate an events space for a wedding reception or any celebration.
Can be incorporated in to clothing for a light flowing effect. Accessories hair bows, veils, light scarfs. Party drapes, table settings, list goes on

Lots of people use them for gift wrapping bows too

These are 147cm wide and £4.30 per metre
