We’re so excited to launch our brand new Meet the Maker series!

First up, the wonderful Sophie Fletcher of Sophie Fletcher

Inspired by nature and her Polish heritage, Sophie creates the most beautiful warm stoneware ceramics, each one made and painted by hand and full of those little irregularities that make her work so special.

We caught up with Sophie to talk about falling in love with clay, the story behind the name Zosia, her Polish roots and the inspiration behind her work.

A little Sussex collaboration ✨

These beautiful lampshades are made by Brighton-based maker Deborah Titcomb, using merino lambswool by fellow Brighton-based Chalk Wovens, designed by the Sussex sea and woven in a traditional mill in Wales.

Available in store, or pop in/message us to commission your own lampshade in the Chalk Wovens design of your choice. ✨

New in at Radical Living ✨

Meet the Gua Sha made from Tiger’s Eye that we’ve just added to the shelves, designed by acupuncturist, practitioner, facialist and founder of Pin & Poke, Harriett Hargreaves.

Harriett’s practice brings together ancient Chinese medicine, facial massage and a more intuitive approach to beauty. She created her Gua Sha from the simple philosophy: let’s stop fixing, stop rushing, and welcome in more ritual and nourishment to our lives.

We’re loving using the tool to massage along the jawline and cheekbones, work into areas of tension and take a few quiet minutes, at start the day or when winding down in the evening. A little daily reminder that taking care of yourself doesn’t have to be another thing to tick off the list!

And if you’re new to Gua Sha, Harriett currently has a free 10-minute Gua Sha facial guide available on the Pin & Poke website (free for a limited time) so you can learn the technique and make the most of your new tool.
