Introducing…. A squishy Capybara plushie and cushion starter set! (Crochet project)

We have put together an easy pack to get you started on this cute little combo. The pack includes the Chenille Chunky yarn for the main bodies, the paper pattern and a 6mm hook.

To complete the pattern you will also need toy stuffing, stitch markers and pink and black DK yarn or embroidery thread.

We have 5 of these packs available - which can be purchased online via our website or in our shop!

These are the other fabulous new prints from our delivery this week.

All poplins, but the beautiful floral (which we’ve called Honeysuckle) and cheeky foxes are 100% Cotton, and the Strawberries are a Polyester/Cotton mix.

The strawberries we already had with a navy background but we loved this colour way too! 🍓

All very fresh, very lightweight, and very suitable for summer.

Some top ups of our favourite summer fabrics arrived at the shop yesterday; cotton Morocco (textured 100% cotton) and two new shades of Polycotton gingham (standard check size).
We also had top ups of cotton calico, cotton and Polycotton poplins and some new poplin prints we’ll show you tomorrow!

Big thank you to Gaz from for carrying the packages of fabric up the stairs for us when he discovered them abandoned by the back door!!

Needle felting kits, embroidery kits, teach yourself to knit or crochet kits or books, try our texture packs to make something sparkly for yourself, play with rainbow fat quarters, try little cross stitch kits or grab a scrap pack and see what inspires you!

A great way to avoid the heat and distract the smalls, just saying!

Our delivery this week was super bright and colourful! We had decided that we were missing some rainbow colours from our craft cottons collection so have added in reds, oranges and lilac’s with the Makower Spectrum Solids, Dimples, Linen Texture and Spraytime essentials.
Plus we stumbled on these lonely looking whales seeking a new home so had to add those to our shop stash too!

If you shopped with us this week you might have met the lovely Iris who chose to do her college work experience week with us.
She was an absolute superstar, gave every challenge a go with a smile, was a natural with customers, an expert fabric cutter and folder and was a pleasure to have in the shop.
We challenged Iris to write down her thoughts each day of things we’d covered that she found interesting or hadn’t known, or had really enjoyed… here are some of the things she came up with - would you have known these?
