Good evening
So I’ve had a few messages asking me how people can donate because they can’t come. I was gonna set up a GoFundMe page but I want the money to specifically go to Mac McMillan cancer support at James Cook Hospital so what I’m gonna do is put my bank details on here and if you would like to donate.
If you can please put as a reference opening day.

Good evening.
Sorry This is a bit of a long post.
August of last year we were delt a devastating blow. Something nobody wants to hear.
My partner Richard was diagnosed with stage four neck and throat cancer.
Anyway 9 months down the line he is now cancer free. Which is a massive relief. Even though he still has a long way to go for a full recovery as the treatment was so brutal.
We have had so much support from everybody it’s been incredible .We both were and continue to be touched. We want to thank McMillan cancer support.
Without them, the last nine months would’ve been a struggle. They were not only there to support Richard but myself too.
We both wanted to do something to thank them for everything they have done.
On Saturday 11th July Askrigg Rope makers will be having an official opening day combined with a McMillan cancer coffee morning.
There will be live demonstrations, tombola, raffle, and tea and cake or coffee.
Please come and help me raise as much money possible for an exceptional course.
If anybody would like to donate any cash or prizes for the raffle please let me know.

What a day,
18 boxes of cattle Halters packed and put on a pallet.
Four boxes of dog leads to go to the Royal horticultural society
More dog leads cut and Halters To Gromit. And it’s warm.
And then a delivery of 137 cones of cotton for the next order of cattle halters. He’s a good one. He helps me so much❤️

Askrigg Ropemakers is looking for somebody 2-3 days a week to join our ever growing team.

Good evening everybody.
I hope you have all had a lovely weekend
It feels like I’ve had a long day today. Got loads done I don’t feel I have.
Been doing a lot of crossballing today for the order off a few hundred cattle halters/lead ropes I received last Friday so I can get ready for next week. Busy busy busy.
And I also received a email on Friday from the Royal horticultural Society who approached me a few months ago about stocking my dog leads in four out of five of their shop up and down the country so we received their first order last Friday. I’m really excited to be taking them on this customers and working along side them. So the next time you’re in one of their five locations pop into this shop and have a look at my dog leads and collars.
