Wow!!!!!!
I’m in a book😊😊😊
In spring time I had the lovely Caitlin come and visit me for a few hours.
I should do how to make a rope how important the heritage is to me to keep this alive. The ropes we were making that day were too stranded yellow and green. For a customer.
But I can’t believe I’m in a book and it’s been published whoop whoop!!! I think the pictures are not too bad as well. The name of the book is Hidden figures yorkshire.
It’s a lovely book and I’m looking looking forward to reading this and getting to know what other people do in the book.

Good evening.
Below is a link to YouTube of me making rope . This was taken when a lady called Caitlin came and spent a few hours with me back in the spring. We went through Rope making, The heritage and why I do what I do etc!!
Caitlin then turned it into a book called Hidden figures of Yorkshire.
I will post some pictures of the article tomorrow. In the meantime enjoy a video of me making a 2 strand rope 😊😊😊

Good evening
Wow!!
Since my Shows finished on the 21st of September, we have been really busy back at HQ trying to get the rest of this Big order out this week and we’ve managed it. 🎉🎉🎉😊😊
At the weekend, I finally got around to finish making 700 lead ropes of various colours and diameter. Packing boxes and loading a pallet!! Heavy work moving all these boxes 💪💪💪
Me and my better half were even sat in bed watching telly making up the lead ropes. By we know how to roll.🤣🤣🤣
All in all, they are 21 boxes with over 800 cattle Halters and 700.
We can breathe for a few seconds🤣🤣 until the next order comes in which from what I can gather will be in the next couple of days.
But guess what????
I’m still loving it.
Bye for now❤️❤️

What a day it’s been today!!
Thought I would make the most of the nice sunny day and get outside and do some long ropes (10 meter lengths)
20 lengths of 10 meter wool one to be cut into lengths and turn into dog leads. Customers own wool.
20 10 meter lengths of cotton ones to also to be turned into dog leads.
A few steps done today🤣
Now time for a cuppa and early night.
Night night 😊

And you did not disappoint. 2 amazing Show so much to see and so much To Do.
Thank you to everybody that visited my stall over the past six months and all the new traders I have met over the past six months. It’s been an absolute pleasure trading beside you. See you all next year. to all my customers old and new without your continuous support I wouldn’t be able to do what I do. You help me keep the tradition alive thank you so much.
So now I am going to bog out my living room put in some furniture that we bought over a year ago and clean carpets in between Work.
Much love
Caroline❤️❤️❤️

Good evening, everybody
Well, this weekend brings to a close the last of my agricultural Shows for 2026.
I’ve had some amazing Shows this year and some not so good ones.
But the good ones out way the bad one by far. I’ve met so many lovely people this year it’s been an absolute pleasure meeting you and hopefully see you all again next year.
My last two favourite shows of this year are on Saturday, Stokesley Show for this one I will be in the craft tent. This is a lovely Show. It’s a very busy Show.
Last and certainly not the least Nidderdale Show. For this one, I will be in my gazebo right next to the main ring. I love this Show.. so if you are in the vicinity of either Show this weekend, please pop down and say hello to me.
Anyway best crack on as these red white and blue lead ropes and Halters will not do themselves
Bye for now ❤️

Wow!!!
I’ve got an email a few weeks ago to say I’d be nominated for best pet related business of the year category award 2026.
Today I’ve been told I’m a finalist 🎉🎉🎉🎉I guess that’s another night away in a hotel, surrounded by lovely people maybe a little bit dancing , eating. And fingers crossed I might even win.
Whoop whoop!!! I might be a little bit proud😊😊😊😊
