Check out the latest batch of end grain cutting boards. Ideal for that new kitchen, a serious chef out there or even getting early and secure a great Christmas gift.

Our end grain chopping boards are crafted from carefully selected, locally sourced hardwoods using traditional woodworking techniques. The end grain construction means the knife blade slides between the wood fibres rather than cutting across them — making these boards kinder to your knives and more resistant to deep marks over time.

Each board is individually handmade and finished to bring out the natural beauty of the wood grain. No two boards are identical.

Dimensions: board dimensions are normally around 40cm x 30cm (sizes can vary). Various designs available or get in touch to discuss a bespoke size or style.

Board Care & Treatment

Every board leaves our workshop having been treated with Vinnie's UPO, followed by a final coat of wax — so it's ready to use straight away.

To keep your board in top condition, we recommend treating it regularly with a food-safe hard wax. A quality wax nourishes the wood fibres, prevents drying and cracking, and adds a protective layer that repels moisture — keeping your board looking great for years to come.

We use and recommend Vinnie's Oil Wax | Concentrated Hard Wood Wax — a premium, non-toxic hard wax that's ideal for end grain boards. Apply with a cloth, work well into the end grain, leave to absorb, then buff off any excess. Repeat every few months or whenever the board starts to look dry.

Handmade from locally sourced hardwoods (generally Oak, Sapele, Ash & Walnut, subject to availability). These cutting boards and charcuterie boards are perfect for cooking and entertaining.

Garage side door re-build.

Pressure treated timbers were used to construct a solid side door to this existing garage.

Originally the garage had a pair of twin glazed doors which had rotted away.

Secured by cross and diagonal bracing at the rear for stability and strength.

Once the door was hung feather edge was used to provide the decorative look, as well as weather protection.

Matching the size and spacing of the feather edge to the existing boards achieved that consistent look.

Galvanised door furnishings were then attached and the job was complete.

The new doors matched in with the old ones and the overall look of the garage build.

Side Table | Occasional Table

This side table / occasional table is perfect for any lounge or living space.

Whether it’s going to hold a lamp, a cup of coffee or be just the spot for the tv remotes, this table will be what you need.

Constructed out of spruce and finished in a medium oak Danish oil to pick out the grain and features such as the bread board bends.

Constructed out of European Oak this robust zig zag drawer unit can be the focal point of your hallway or any other living space.

The continuous waterfall grain sees the fabulous oak character flow over the edges of the piece. The oil finish picks out the distinctive patterns and highlights the features of this amazing wood species.

The soft close drawers add that extra nice touch to the feel of the drawers and the knurled brass k***s provide that perfect contrast of a different material.
