Baking for me is so much more than the cash dollar(or randellas us Saffas like to say): it’s about the joy it brings me and my customer when the end product is just what they dreamt of. It’s about the conversations and connections I make with individuals who believe anything is possible and anything can be made (even though that’s a bit daunting for me sometimes). It’s about creating something from my heart to bless those around me. It’s about escaping the desk-job lifestyle that sometimes holds happiness back. Its about surprise, gift giving and creativity. It’s about confidence mounding through trial and error, flops, midnight icing sessions, through tears and frustrations, and the ‘a hah’ moments when something works out. It’s about the time with my hubby who always lends a helping hand. So yes, I bake for more than the money: bake for you. I bake for me!
