There are no two ways about it - Cloud Nine Knits was founded on a quest for instant gratification with knitting! Skinny yarn projects didn’t cut it in terms of what could be achieved of an evening in front of the the telly after a long day. I needed bigger yarn, bigger projects and a giant feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction to match!
Since I started the business in February 2018, it has grown from a small Etsy shop stocking giant crochet cat beds, to running 3 giant yarn workshops and parties a week, an online shop supplying giant yarn kits, a pop up shop in Godalming and a busy time supplying interior designers with custom orders.
What has delighted me the most about the journey so far is the amazing community of giant yarn lovers that has emerged and grown locally - to date over 170 people have attended a Cloud Nine Knits workshop in Hampshire and Surrey. Your support has pushed me on to grow the business further. Exciting times ahead!
