Morning view…

After sharing my MS diagnosis, I thought I'd take a break from here ... and while I might still do that, right now my focus is shot.

No audiobooks, TV, reading, or sewing.

No concentration! No crochet for at least months! 🧶

Guess I'll stay around and just taking pics of Alfie 🐾

An update

I have multiple sclerosis

Apparently probably been living with it for decades. Will fill in the whole story at some point.

Feeling relieved almost , very supported and loved, deciding to share my journey, not everyone wants to, but ms is now part of me - probably has been for decades! But it wont define me. Just another chapter of God’s plan x

For now will stick to communicating via whats app

I might not always reply but I’ll really appreciate it and see you soon x

Christmas 2025… we cooked dinner in Lisburn and ate it in Newtownards on Christmas Day with my Dad. We prepped a second dinner in Lisburn and ate it in Bushmills on Boxing Day. We didn’t forget any important elements and definitely enjoyed doing Christmas differently this year. Time with family is what matters most. How was your Christmas? Mine was different!

A snapshot of December so far - nativity sets, a nativity festival, plenty of Rock Choir events, and of course, plenty of warm white fairy lights on the Christmas trees (no other colour is acceptable!) It's been a tough month health-wise (thanks Bells Palsy), but I'm making a conscious effort to find the joy in the season. This year's Christmas is a bit different, but that's ok. Sending love and prayers your way this Christmas x

This November... son home for the weekend, enjoying the last maple leaves, workshops, Christmas prep, craft fairs, a speaking gig, early Christmas tree at the cottage, beach walks, our church's 150th celebration, plenty of Alfie and Garfield cuddles, recent creations... and angels!
