Mr & Mrs Laity at Trevenna 💕

Looking through their wedding album, you can just tell this was a day filled to the brim with love, laughter and so much fun!

From the biggest smiles to those wonderfully unposed moments, it looks like a day where everyone really let their hair down and enjoyed every minute. And I do love seeing that in a wedding gallery.

One little detail I particularly loved was that the bridesmaids each had slightly different bouquets. Keeping the flowers in the same soft, natural palette while giving each bouquet its own character adds so much personality. They still work beautifully together, but each one has its own little twist. 🌿

And isn’t that what wedding flowers are all about? Creating something that feels like you, with all those thoughtful details that make the day your own.

There’s something about white wedding flowers that never loses its charm….

I’ve had a lovely run of white flowers this year, and looking back at some of these arrangements has reminded me just how much you can do with a simple colour palette.

White is often associated with new beginnings, which feels rather fitting for a wedding. But I think one of the loveliest things about choosing white flowers is that they can be so many different things…classic and elegant, soft and romantic, or natural and a little bit wild.

Choosing to have white, doesn’t have to mean everything looks the same. Different shapes, textures, delicate details and shades of ivory and cream can bring so much depth to an arrangement. It’s a timeless choice, but there’s still plenty of room to make it your own. 🌿

The details make the difference. 🌸

And one of my favourite things about wedding flowers is seeing how they can be enjoyed throughout the day, in different locations.

For my son’s wedding, we moved some of the flowers from the church over to the reception, giving them another moment to shine in a completely different setting. From welcoming guests as they arrived to dressing the reception space, the flowers brought the whole day together with soft pinks, peachy tones and plenty of natural texture.

It’s also a lovely way to make the most of your wedding flowers, allowing you to enjoy them in more than one setting.

Sometimes, a little thoughtful planning makes all the difference.

There’s something about white wedding flowers that never really goes out of style.

Nicole chose a beautifully simple palette of white and ivory flowers for her bouquet and her bridesmaids, with delicate foliage and trailing ribbon adding softness and movement.

And against those gorgeous black bridesmaid dresses? 🤍

We think they looked pretty perfect.

These are the kind of photographs we love receiving after a wedding. Seeing the flowers alongside the people they were created for brings everything to life in a completely different way.

Take a look at these from Becky & Krishan’s beautiful wedding at Trevenna 😍

We created colourful, natural, garden-inspired flowers, with lots of movement and plenty of personality. From the ceremony arrangements and bouquets to the reception flowers, every detail was designed to feel at home in the beautiful Cornish countryside.

And then came the message every florist hopes to receive:

“The flowers were so breathtaking I cried when I saw them!”

They told us the flowers were everything they hoped for and more, and that they’d had so many lovely comments from their guests.

“The flowers really made the venue at Trevenna feel complete.”

That’s exactly what we hope to create. Flowers that don’t just decorate a wedding, but become part of how the day felt.
