Our story
Pretty Crafty and Vintage Fairs started in July 2018 at The Woodland Centre in Rustington. This was a monthly event which continued into 2019 on the last Sunday of each month. Nina Rose started the fairs to enable local crafters to sell there wares. Nina herself is a keen crafter and a collector of Vintage items. Nina, decided to stand down at the end of 2019 but the Pretty Crafty Fairs will continue under new stewardship from Chris Warden who has a proven track record of organising local events.
Chris has been organising and attending fairs for over 5 years, she co-runs the Bognor Old Town Artisan Markets, Southdowns Folk Festival Market, Chichester African Pygmy Hedgehog Show, Serenity Fayres and formally up until the end of 2018 The Crafty Pint Market.
Being a stallholder as well as an event organiser has given Chris an insight into both sides of organising and attending fairs. She has a wealth of knowledge on where to advertise as well as a huge section of Professional Crafters and Artisans.
She is looking forward to introducing new stalls as well as the favorites that have been supporting the Pretty Crafty over the last two years. As in the past, entrance for customers will be free, there will be a cafe for refreshments, crafters and we are hoping to add some pampering stands to the event as well.
