I've not had the energy for analogue painting for the last couple of weeks, and this is where the iPad comes into its own. After watching Guillermo del Toro's adaptation of Frankenstein at the weekend, I'm a little obsessed with the beauty of it. Every frame looks like a painting, so obviously I want to recreate them.

I've been thinking about the past for the last couple of days. This evening has mostly been working on my ipad on this piece representing being caught in the deep water of memory. The bright detail of the flower in the minds eye contrasts with the hazy depths and greys of the water.
(Or at least it will when it's finished!)
