Little job we carried out last week full uplift of old carpet tiles scrabble of the old adhesive then a full coat of screed then the transformation begins witn the always reliable Fraser oak planking in the main core of the office then go to range carpet tiles to the offices all ready for the client to move into at the end of the month

This job was a real test with the prep office and study wooden sub floor extension to the house was asphalt then hallway...

This job was a real test with the prep office and study wooden sub floor extension to the house was asphalt then hallway and the kitchen was a mixture of concrete and asphalt which had been damaged to previously poor prep for carpet in the hallway.

Repaired all the damaged asphalt with a moisture tolerant repair mortar then moisture control needed then a full smoothing compound applied to the kitchen / diner / hallway and utility.

Office and study had to have a flooring grade 6mm ply then a coat of 5mm smoothing compound to get that perfect finish ready for the flooring.

Then as always the perfect flooring for any household the always reliable rockingham oak pw3065 herringbone in the main areas then the plank in the same colour as the herringbone in the office and study

So we’re doing a windows / doors and conservatory showroom for a customer who I did his house last year and using project floors with amtico decor as the centre piece to display what different colours would look like with a little twist in the middle turned out well

This job started on Father’s Day we came in to find that there was a ton of ceramic tile adhesive that had to be ground of and at short notice Chris Hughes and his lad offered there services to grind of the adhesive for us and gave the floor its first coat of the bullet proof then we had to give the floor a coat of moisture control followed by another coat of ardex na smoothing compound. After that myself and Marcus fitted the always fantastic product rough sawn cypress herringbone installed to this beautiful kitchen the contrast between kitchen and floor colours looks fantastic thanks to all that helped on this at short notice much appreciated
