Well… that’s a wrap on our Prescot shop 💛

I just want to say the biggest, most heartfelt THANK YOU to every single one of you who popped in yesterday to say cheers, share a hug, raise a glass and reminisce. It truly meant more than I can put into words.

What could have been a really sad day turned into something so special because of you. The stories, the laughter, the support — it reminded me exactly why I opened the doors in the first place. Heatherington’s has always been about people, not just a shop.

Although the Prescot door is now closed, Heatherington’s is still very much open online with a new look website coming soon and I’m so excited for what’s ahead. This isn’t the end — it’s just a new chapter ✨

You can also still get your beloved Frenchic Paint over at Harefields Woodcraft — and I will be opening another location very soon 👀

Thank you for supporting a small independent business. Thank you for your loyalty. Thank you for the memories.

Tomorrow, Saturday 28th February, will be Heatherington’s last day in our Prescot store 💔

This has been one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make, and certainly not one taken lightly. The high street is facing incredibly challenging times and, like so many small independent businesses, I’ve felt those pressures deeply.

However, tomorrow isn’t about sadness — it’s about celebrating everything we’ve created together 🥂

I would truly love for you to pop in, join me for a glass (or two!) of prosecco, share your memories, and help give the shop the send-off it deserves. We’ll also be having a little sale, so there may be a few lovely bargains to take home too ✨

Small independent businesses are the heart of our communities, and they need our support now more than ever. If you can, please continue to shop local and champion your high street — it genuinely makes a difference.

Thank you for every purchase, every conversation, and every bit of support you’ve shown me during my time in Prescot. It has meant more than I can ever properly put into words ❤️

Although the Prescot shop is closing, I’m still very much trading online and at our concession in Harefield Woodcraft ✨

And I will always be a proud Frenchic stockist — it’s not just what I sell, it's my passion.

So this isn’t goodbye… it’s simply the start of a new chapter ❤️

A New Chapter for Heatheringtons Home & Gifts❤️

After a lot of soul-searching, I’ve made the difficult decision to close my lovely shop in Prescot. This wasn’t an easy choice, but with high street footfall changing, I need to simplify things to make sure we can keep creating together for years to come.

The good news? We aren’t going anywhere—we’re just evolving! 🦋 There is no official closing date yet, so it’s business as usual for now. I’d love to see your friendly faces in the shop over the next few weeks!

As we move into 2026, here is how you can still find us:

Prescot Shop: Still open with reduced hours while I prep our next steps. New revised opening hours to follow. Pop in and say hi!

Online: Our website is open 24/7, and a fresh new look is coming soon.
Visit us in Rainhill: You can still find our Frenchic Paint range at Harefields Woodcraft (Warrington Rd). A second concession is also on the way!

Workshops & Commissions: My 2026 order book is OPEN! I’ll also be continuing my workshops at new locations—stay tuned for dates.

Thank you for all your support throughout my time at Prescot. I've made some amazing friends over the last 3 years. I’m sad to close this door, but so excited to focus more on the creative work we all love.
