Going to give this fleece time to ferment and clean itself

The suint method is environmentally friendly way of cleaning the fleece using its own bacteria

It’s the first time I’ve cleaned fleece this way and I’ve heard it’s pretty stinky!!

It was great to be back with the Woolers after a couple of months away

They’re such a friendly, welcoming group with a passion for all things textiley- wool in particular of course

It was such an amazing day with Karen from Artemis Alpacas and her lovely girls in Halewood, Liverpool

Karen has so much knowledge to share with spinners- imagine just turning up at a show and knowing exactly what to look for in the best alpaca fleece
