Making your own candle is one of those things that sounds complicated until you actually do it.
Our candle-making kits include everything you need - wax, fragrance, wick, vessel,
instructions. You provide the kitchen table and about an hour of your afternoon.
People buy them for themselves. People buy them as gifts. People buy them and then end up wanting to make ten more.
We consider that a success.

We are asked sometimes why we are called Northumbrian Candleworks when we are
based in Liverpool.
The honest answer is that the name came first, from the person who started the brand
decades ago in the North East. The craft followed it south - and Liverpool turned out to
be a very good place to make things.
