Hey, it’s Fi here 👋

I’m very excited to share that one of my ceramic pieces will be part of an exhibition for the first time in beautiful historic building Bidston Observatory Artistic Research centre.

I began my pottery journey three years ago, simply as a way to reconnect with the joy I felt playing with clay as a child.
I created ‘the Mermaid’s Water Prayer bowl’ inspired by the myths of New Brighton’s mermaids. According to sailors’ reports, these mermaids were said to have saved lives during a shipwreck in the 1800s.
The Water Prayer is a way to connect with water spirits while exploring the mystery and meaning behind this story.

I’ll be around all day on Saturday, so if you’re in the area, I’d love for you to pop in and say hi 🧜🏼‍♀️ 🌊

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of planning permission and building regulation approvals for our Castle Street restaurant project in Liverpool. This remarkable Grade II listed building, originally constructed as a bank in 1899 in the Early Renaissance style, served as a bank until its closure in 2017.

We designed a new layout for the ground floor and mezzanine to accommodate the restaurant and took on the role of project management, collaborating closely with contractors to find solutions at every stage of the process. Preserving the significant heritage features and comply with modern standards was challenging but rewarding experience.

We are delighted to have contributed to the restoration of this historic building, bringing it back to life for the community to experience once again.

‘I am a committee member of Liverpool Architecture Foundation CIC for 4 years and it’s a joy for being a part of this like-minded crowd. We created hundreds free architecture events in Liverpool City Region and orginised the third Liverpool Architecture Festival this year. The festival was a great success we received great feedbacks not only from architects, from any age any profession. I personally very enjoyed each event I participated; Cycle tour, drawing lessons, CPD, showcase and others.
Hopefully this volunteer act will become bigger in future and we will be proud of how handful number of architects/designers’ visions come true.
I also want to thank to Mat, Lizzie, Ffion and other committe members to put their energy to create this collective architecture act.

I am thrilled to announce that we will be the part of Liverpool Architecture Festival Showcase this year with an animation video created by Awe architecture & interiors. It is our pleaseure to be one of the 26 architecture practices who participate the showcase. The exhibition will be open to everyone at 22 Dale Street, Liverpool between 01-30 June 2024.

This year Liverpool Architecture Festival's theme Neighbourhood and 'Boundaries' is an AI-generated artwork brings boundaries together and characteristics of the built enviroment of six local region of Liverpool:
Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens, and Wirral.

It explores and illustrates neighbourhoods, how they have developed with evolved continuity and divergence by heritage, urbanization, economic shifts, and cultural changes.

With using historical data from various archives, including maps, photographs, architectural features, neighborhood profiles and future urban development plans, we asked AI to visualize its dreams of Liverpool's past, present, and future, focusing on the transformation of neighborhoods over time.
