This year at Mirfield Agricultural Show, make sure you visit the Made in Mirfield Marquee – No. 17.

We’re a carefully selected group of mainly Mirfield-based artisan makers, brought together by a shared belief that local should mean genuinely local, handmade should mean genuinely handmade, and quality should always come first.

Every maker who joins Made in Mirfield is chosen carefully. Our members are professional craftspeople with the appropriate insurance and licences for their products, giving you confidence that what you’re buying has been made with care, quality and safety in mind.

We will be at Mirfield Show this Sunday in the Made in Mirfield tent. Hope you can come along it will be a fantastic day

Only 5 days to go to Mirfield Show. All our makers are busy getting ready for the big day and can't wait to show you what they have been making, baking and creating.
There will be 16 stalls, all with something different to offer so there is something for everyone.
Come and find us through the gate on Crowlees School's playground.

🖍️ Giant Doodlewall Mural – Add your family's masterpiece to our huge collaborative mural throughout the day.
⚱️ Potter's Wheel with Natasha Jackson Ceramics – Have a go at throwing your own pot with Oakwell Hall's Artist in Residence.
🐞 Fearless Arts – Get creative making bugs and beasties from wood and recycled materials, toast marshmallows, and have a go at shelter building.
🌼 Wildwood Outdoor Education – Enjoy nature-inspired games, make wildflower seed bombs, relax in a plant-themed sensory space, become a bee and pollinate a flower, and join the Botanical Scavenger Hunt.
🏺 Museum in a Tent – Discover fascinating objects from the Kirklees collections and take part in hands-on Yorkshire-themed activities.
🗣️ Yorkshire Dialect with Charmaine Straker Purvis – Learn some proper Yorkshire words and phrases the whole family can have fun trying out.
🍰 Annual Cake-Off Competition – Bakers of all ages, bring along your best Yorkshire-themed showstopper or traditional bake and enter our much-loved Cake-Off!
